The Islands is a project initiated by Roosje Klap, Matthias Kreutzer and Simon Wald-Lasowski in the context of Playlab, a Graphic Design class from KABK, Royal Academy of Arts, The Hague. The islands are inspired by their original names: Bubble Island, Huxley Island, Karim Island, King Kong Island, Lego Island. Each island interpreted the given name in their own way. Groups of three to five students let new islands arose.
I was asked to create a map for the event, on which the islands have been presented.
