For Weinhaus Bauer I have collaborated with PAUL MIELKE. I came up with the concept: The two brothers couldn't be any more different. The two things that connect them is wine and playing cards. The labels show both of their passions. Also in German, their name 'Bauer' is a synonym for the jack in a deck of cards. After coming up with the idea, Paul illustrated the two brothers. Their is one special wine which deserved a special label. Each of the 234 labels is carrying parts of the soil of the vineyard in which the grapes grew.
